All those points work for me. I would love to earn a badge for a given niche. (Ex. - top contributor on the topic of investing or real estate.) It would give people confidence that someone has been vetted on a topic and is worth learning from
Yeah, it's still a rep system at it's core, just specialized and more fun :)
