🌟 🌟 How Minnows Can Get Noticed On Steemit 🌟 🌟steemCreated with Sketch.

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

A new Steemian tells us how he made over $200 on his “Introduce Yourself” post. @livenowandwow lives very near to me in Chiang Mai so I asked him to pop by and tell me all his secrets.

@livenowandwow has great ideas and insight into the platform so I thought I had to share this on Steemit.

"How do you make money on Steemit?" Don’t try to make money on Steemit! Here are some more pieces of advice from @livenowandwow

1. Enjoy the platform

Life, business, Steemit, everything, is always better if you don't focus on money and you focus on enjoying yourself.

2. Engage with other Steemians who are posting stuff you really like

Comment on posts you really like. Don't just follow people and hope they'll follow you.

3. Post great content

The number one rule for blogging. Make your content super-helpful and the community will vote it up.

4. Curate great posts and post great comments (not just “great post”)

It's not just about the content you make, it's about the content you consume as well. Make sure you find the posts that really resonate with you and reward the Steemians who created them by commenting well on their posts and resteeming them.

5. Do something to stand out

@livenowandwow did some things a little bit differently. He regularly adds animated GIFs in his long, erudite comments. And he got to know fellow Steemians through the Minnow Support Project's Discord channel (called PAL) – by playing poker! Or put emojis in the title.

Consistency is key!

I found you by watching this video on YouTube. I appreciated the information you provided and found that I was following some of the same tactics such as commenting on several posts and giving the writer honest feedback. I think this is a great site to learn about topics that otherwise I may not have been exposed to. I also understand now how important it is to remain consistent and to grow a following rather than put a few pieces out there and leave it because of discouragement.

Absolutely! Thank you, @nexusvortex777

You're welcome!! I am looking forward to reading more great content from you. Thanks for helping us new to the site learn something about becoming successful in our time here at Steemit. You are appreciated!

nice share, you hit the right button, it's very encouraging, thank you so much :)

Very good advice! It can be disheartening at times, but focusing on the things I love to do - create beautiful images and write - I am having a great time on here! I have always had a passion for both, so I am trying hard to ignore my lack of audience at this early stage! Again thanks!

Yeah, me too, @dmcamera, but I enjoy creating content so I will carry on. Best of luck with your Steemit journey.

And you too @robcubbon! We do our best and ignore the rest! :-)

Very good tips thank you🕊
