Steemit reputation and its uses
Finally! I have made to 50 reputation now here in Steemit. Maybe some of you guys are already aware about the reputation and what its use, while some are still not. To give you a quick idea about it. The reputation is the indicator that shows how you performed in the Steemit community. It works like a trust scale. The Steemit has this feature in order for each user to easily understand and distinguished a user in his behavior in this platform.
It only means that if you have a higher reputation, then it means that you are doing good in this community. You just need to get and complete a certain experience in order to go to the next level of reputation and the lowest reputation starts at 25. You can increase your reputation by getting a positive feedback or upvote from each user, while flagging or downvoting your shared post will give you a negative reputation. The user with low reputation can't give a negative effect or harm in other user through his downvotes, but the high reputation user can give a great impact in upvoting or downvoting a user. In short, reputation is just like a trust rating or trust indicator, which us valued by every user in this community. Make sure to always give your best shot and share an interesting and useful post often, in order to gain a higher reputation.
The user with the highest reputation here in Steemit now is @haejin, which is 79, and the next is @steemsports in 78, and so on.
Thank you for this @prince-evans. I have been sitting at 48 for some time wondering how to make the leap.
