1000 followers on Day One?!? Steemit needs analytics

Woohoo!  1000 followers on Day One at Steamit!  

That would truly be amazing, wouldn't it.  No, I haven't gotten 1000 followers on Day One being approved on Steemit, but I am grateful for the 21 people who are following me in less than 24 hours.  This community is truly amazing.

I've marketed and have done paid ads on Facebook and Twitter, used SaaS (software as a service) marketing tools like HootSuite, and also email marketing on a few platforms including MailChimp.   Steemit offers some basic things to see how successful your posts are - upvotes, views, potential payout, etc.  Also, you generate comments/discussion based on the quality of your posts.  You're not going to get a 1000 upvotes/views/etc if you post garbage.

If you have done marketing on social media, email, or anywhere online (Google Adwords for example), you know how important analytics are to running a campaign and tweaking your efforts for future success.  Steemit doesn't have any advanced analytics, so how are content creators going to know how effective their content is?

I think most Steemit users will tell you they have a good time using Steemit the way it is right now.  However, some people are using Steemit as a tool to further their brand, name recognition, or viewership/readership.  

What are the top Steemit content creators' thoughts on the current product being offered here?  What would they like to see added to make this a more robust experience?  Steemit definitely needs more analytics to improve its product and to take this platform to the next level.

Where is Steemit going in the future?
