Best Rivalry for a reason! (Imaginary post)

Year 2040,
Today I had a Thought that when we will grow older,Both Ronaldo and Messi would’ve hung up their boots, We will still be supporting our beloved club watching El clasico with Our Childrens will support our Respective clubs because we have told them all Heroics things Messi and Ronaldol has done and took football to such a level that no one could ever Imagined. To a certain level that even football biggest and brightest stars will hope ‘ I wish I was there.’

But there is a inner silence and tears in both of our fanbase , Because Madrid number 7 and Barca’s number 10 doesn’t have ronaldo and Messi name on it, Then We realised they both have retired and their number is given to someothers. Buts still deep down in our heart number 7 and 10 wil aways be occupied for Ronaldo and Messi , But our children are idolizing their new Number 7 and 10. They will posting so many posts trolls about El-Clasico,They cannot wait to see their favorite stars and world Best football squaring against each other . Even We couldn’t wait to see the El-Clasico .

But our excitement is for very different reason, Yes we are more than excited at the time but We will be waiting to have just a little glimpse inside the VIP box,Where Cristiano and Messi would be watching in VIP box or in the dugout as a chief guest and cheering for their Eternal love of their club. We will be dying to see them even for a second. We will be very happy and just dreaming how they can rip apart the game, should they been playing.When camera focuses on both those Players Even commentators will say ‘ look who is in the stands,Two other wordly aliens and two greatest ever to grace the beautiful game of football,They will be commenting about how good they were,they will talk about their legacy and all the heroics they have done.

Then all suddenly our Son/Daughters will ask “ Dad,who are these two players,I hear commentators talking about them on regular basis and I have seen many matches where their name is taken countless times.

We will have a big smile and expression hard to describe and all those rewinds running through our mind, ,goals,and crazy ecstatic commentary about our Eternal Idol.

We will be telling a story about our Idol in all excitement and adrenaline running through our spines and big smile on our face and little bit of tears in our eyes. We’ll tell them all the records and way they play ,We’ll tell them that how big news it became when they failed to score in single game but still getting where to start ,We’ll be telling story of our Idol whose childhood was spent in poverty and how they made it through the Ranks unbelievebly.

I as a madrid fan will be talking about how cristiano used to Run past Defenders with bamboozling skills and turbo pace,How he changed his game when he used to get ,How hungry his desire for goals was, His never Give up attitude and how a guy manages to equalised Balon dor whoch everyone thought it was impossible, how annoyed he used to get when he misses one chances even after scoring a hattrick. We will be telling about the incredible comebacks vs Wolfsburg when we 2-0 down in the first leg and Ronaldo scored hattrick in the 2nd leg and won the ucl that season, We’ll be telling them that how Ronaldo used to take shoots in his prime and no one could predict the trajectory of the balls and explosive step-overs with turbo pace and leap which almost breaks the law of physics.We’ll tell them that he has scored almost all sorts goals you could imagine.

And our Barca fans will be telling about How great their idol was, The little guy who is still worshipped as a god in Camp Nou ,The man with short height breaking the ankle of greatest defenders, Not even a disease like growth hormones could stop him from winning 5 balon dors annd become one the greatest ever. We’ll be telling them The way he used dribble and chip the keeper and make goals out of nothing when there was a bunch of defenders trying to stop a one tiny little player and still he goes past them like a training ground exercise and score a goal while assisting team mates too.
And after we are done telling all the impossbile things they’ve done for 13/14 years And then our children will ask who is Messi and who is Cristiano to our Barca Counter parts ?hw will ask me’ You have told me about Ronaldo but tell me about messi now, and other will ask you have told me about Messi tell me about Cristiano now, then Well are having a big Smile on our face and bit of tears going rewinding the time when we use when, We will rewind all those days have when we used to spend thousand of hours debating who is better and another thousand trolling one another, We both will say ‘He is also one of the Greatest footballer of all time who always caused unbearable havocs to opponents, We will talk about how one was a nightmare for defenders and other was true evil emperor for any goalkeeper in the world even from 40 yards one would score with one shot while the other will run 40 yards and beat the crap out of 4-5 defenders.
We would have watched every single videos of our idols,every skills ,every move,goals in the youtube not a single clip missed, and we will have memorised all the commentaries because We are missing them on the pitch ,we want to relive the old day.
Finally we would have learned to respect our greatest rival of our idol,We’ll regret that why we used to abhor others while supporting one,It will be too late to realised that our ego killed the golden moment we were living in. We will be crying deep down and will be laughing on our ourselves on all the trolls and memes we used to make to make joke of each other.
They will be Gone, They are never ever coming back. Not any single vidoes left ,we have already watch all their careers goals and achievment for more than 1000 times.
Finally we’ll realise that they are gone,Two goats have retired . but still our childrens will be busy trolling one another on every match days, Then We would Remember the same stupidity of our old days . We’ll advice them not to troll the opponents and respect the other players.
And our childrens will reply us “Dad!!! You won’t understand ,this is El clasico ,It’s much more than a game of Football ,We will be just smiling by looking into their eyes and shaking our heads in rubbing their hairs.
We are Real Madrid and Barcelona, Our Rivalry is Known as eternal for Reason. Our rivalry will never die, Football will never be the Same, Messi and Ronaldo are gone but rivalry remain eternal.
