Poker VS Blockchain Currency Exchange

Entry 1 - Testing the waters

The Question

Is it more profitable to play poker, or the Blockchain Currency exchange market? (if at all)

The Method

TBD. This will be nailed down based on your feedback, my available resources, and community interest.

My poker background

I have been playing Texas Holdem poker recreationally and as additional income for this past year. I've placed in the final table on a handful of less than $200 entry tourneys hosted by casinos, and regularly play cash games. After being a profitable recreational activity for a while now, I am considering taking it on as a serious investment.

My BCC background

After having a topiary knowledge of BCC for a few years, I've recently dug in and am now a true believer. BCC is going to continue to grow and disrupt across the board, and I am buying in.

Sub-Goals

  • Start at the bottom so everyone can follow along, and/or participate.
  • Start at amounts accessible to your average Steemit member following this experiment.
  • Gradually scale depth & complexity of articles so anyone new to either poker or blockchain currency can follow along from the start.
  • Share strategies for doing both.
  • Discover the poker community in the Steemit/Blockchain community.

Support Required: 250 new followers

In the past I've kept my cards close to the vest, frankly because it's a value in poker among many other professional situations not to share how you play your game/make your trades. This experiment would involve a fair amount of transparency and will take a fair amount of time, even if limited to a few months. Sharing my failures and personal thoughts on the strategy of both would need an audience large enough to provide constructive feedback for improvement, with possibly some other participants doing their own tests to decrease the variance of this experiment.

I usually post on art, so if this is something you want to read more on, please be sure to upvote this so I know the followers are for Poker VS Blockchain. Comment with your questions and suggestions and share your level of proficiency with poker and blockchain currency! I look forward to meeting you!

Thanks!
