Info: Transalte and read posts
Hi, just letting you know, for those of you who haven't used or don't know, about reading posts that aren't in your preferred language, english or otherwise. Hope this helps those who reads and curates content, and people who documents or create awesome contents, not to miss out because of language barriers, a problem that is already solved to an extent .
If you are using chrome, google translate option is built into it. So either you can right click and translate or chrome will show option on the address bar to translate when the current page or text is not in your preferred language.
If you are using firefox, you need to download this firefox addon for google translator to use the feature.
If you are using edge browser, either you will have the Microsoft translator built into it or you will have to download the free app from here Once you install it, you can see the options coming up in your browser.
For safari users, you need to install the Microsoft Translator app (formerly Bing search). Then you need to enable Microsoft Translator option from the "More" options. For translating a content or page, use the share menu, where you will see a translate option.
In my experience, google translate is the best tool to translate, although Microsoft translator is good too. I have tried a few other translators in the past but were not quiet good. That may not be the case now, and there could be better ones out there, in terms of user experience. Please do share if any. I have mentioned here the most common ways in the common browsers.
Also, these are all latest versions, so some older browsers and OS versions might have different names and ways of translating. I will share as I get to know better.
