RE: Campaign to get SBD listed on Binance

in #steemit7 years ago

Adding steemdollars to will give it a nice bump because binance is one of the top crypto exchanges.

I am confused though, adding coin to an exchange I believe requires the developers contacting the exchange, that is applying' and subsequently fulfilling all the requirements, besides the fees of course.

So my confusion, is it the work of we users here? or the likes of @ned? do you understand there are fees and requirements that only the developers can fulfill? Correct me if I am wrong @socky

It is purely up to the exchange to list a coin. In the case of Binance, there is a form for the CEO or development team can use to request the coin to be listed on their exchange. That is what I am making available on this blog just in case the development team is struggling to find it. Hint Hint. Even when the form is filled out, Binance can still choose to ignore the request.

Exchanges have fees. They vary between exchanges. Binance can capitalize on these tiny fees. Take last 24 hours for example. Upbit exchange did over $100 Million dollars worth of SBD transactions. Binance is loosing out on making money on these transactions as they refuse to list SBD.

Thanks for the clarification. I have seen what binance listing done to some coins as Neblio, Steem dollars on binance would bring a massive surge in of new entrants, a forward push for both the coin and the platform. I'll fill the form and submit mine.

No need to fill out the form. It is for the Steemit Staff to perform.
