Well. I actually like the design. It keeps things simple to find without getting confused by too many colors. Colors are brought to you by having a look at several posts ;)
I agree, it should be like FB or Twitter where you can change the graphics out. So you can brand yourself. If we want to attract the people with large followings so they will bring their following to Steemit. It needs it.
