I really like the idea, but lets not call it "eyeballs", instead let's call it "views". Seems more natural. "my post received 27 views" is better than "my post received 27 eyeballs" :)

The tab would be valuable as it separates the posts which are upvoted but not read, from those which are read (but perhaps not upvoted). Both metrics are valuable.
