One thing I think would significantly curb this trend would be to add a redditesque side tab for topics that would stipulate rules such as: Only Original Content
Either that or just fork all the retards out of the chain every couple of months, maybe even make a fantasy league out of it. You can achieve anything with a fantasy league.
There are bots that try to point out when content is copied as opposed to original.
I've never seen any reports on their effectiveness.
The bot's a certainly helpful, but yeah, people clearly don't seems to be detered. I think I'm going to just write a bot that reposts these peoples posts as if they were the bots original posts.
