This IS How I STEEMIT - My YOUTUBE Walkthrough For My SUBSCRIBERS - 📷 [Video inside]

So many emails with questions from my subscribers on how to get started with steemit requires me to do this video. I understand that change can be difficult and new technology can be hard to understand. Some of this has led to frustration with signups and getting an account on this platform.

So this video is going to address the sign up issue and explain some of that. I HOPE that this issue is being addressed as many are being turned away and FIRST IMPRESSIONS are important. Many BIG youtubers (bigger than me) are coming to Steemit and bringing their subs with them and many of those subs are being turned away because of complications of signing up. I'm confident that highly intelligent people are working on this problem.

Second I show a couple of Steem applications that I use on a regular basis when posting to steemit and interacting with its community. It doesn't matter what your interest is, there is a place at Steemit for everyone.

STEEM ON!

I agree with the statement that the steemit is a platform for every one...

This comment has received a sweet gift of Dank Amps in the flavor of 10.87 % upvote from @lovejuice thanks to: @qasimwaqar. Vote for Aggroed!

I had no idea you guys were on steemit, been watching you videos for a couple years. Following!

Thanks for watching! It means a lot!

I really like steemnow, new tool to make steemit more enjoyable. Especially the upvote calculator! I'm glad I can contribute my $0.06! @ironshield

Wow!

I've been subscribed to your YouTube for a while now. I saw your videos on Steemit and decided to sign up, but I was having trouble figuring it all out. I was looking through your blog and found this post. It made it so simple.

You are not only helping me get started in homesteading, but now your helping me get started on social media.

THANKS!

Great to have you aboard! One thing about steemit, you get out of it what you put into it! ENJOY! HAVE FUN!

My voting power gets depleted very quickly at 2% per vote (I like to upvote). How much Steem Power is needed to to adjust voting weight? @ironshield

I think you need to get to 500 SP before you get the slider.

I have watched many of your videos on YouTube.
I am new to Steemit and have been trying to figure this out.
This has helped me out tremendously....Upvoted and followed!
Wonderful post!

THanks! Welcome to steemit!

That was a nice introduction video. If people can treat their Steemit account like their homestead, everyone will be better off in the long run. If folks build their Steem Power, relationships, and supporting each other, it's like building productive capacity of a homestead. But if folks see Steemit as simply a cash out opportunity, keeping their voting power low, it will be like destroying the soil on a homestead from harvesting crops and not putting anything back in.

Homesteaders should get this better than a lot of new folks on Steemit, so I'm glad they are coming over here in bigger numbers.

Totally true! You get out of it what you put in and homesteaders understand this!

At this stage Zach I would convert all steem cash into power. That way you can up vote supporter accounts. They in turn convert their cash into power. Then you make money upvoting each other.

I promised myself that for the first two months, whatever I made in crypto, would stay in crypto. So I have bought Steem power, a couple other alt-coins and I invested in bitconnect. Earn crypto, don't buy crypto. :)

Thank You for doing this Zac! Resteemit for everybody!

AMEN SIS!!! Do not forget your pat on the back!! God Bless.

Thanks for the explanation--it helped us understand a little better! We heard about SteemIt based on your recommendations, and sometimes it feels like a game I don't feel like playing, haha. Our focus on the homestead is in getting things established in real life here, so much of our online work is tertiary sideline stuff--having an opportunity to have it potentially support the homestead, even if it's just a fraction of an amount, is helpful. You can only spread yourself so far! So having videos like yours makes our time a little more efficient.

Even so, I feel a little funny about the automatic vote bot-thing. I totally get the rationale behind it, if you look at this thing as a game and are leveling up. For some, that strategy gets their message further and helps support the smaller content creators, so this is not a commentary on them morally. For me, since I know that my votes probably will never hold much weight, nor my articles gain a huge following, I would only want to vote on articles I'd actually read. I may never be a heavy-hitter, but I value the interaction with other homesteaders so much more than gaining traction in popularity. So many ways to approach this online world! I'm glad that, at the end of the day, I can head outside and breathe the real air and close the computer. :)

At the end of the day, you have to just stop and live life. Just blogging about it will get you nowhere. :)
