Getting a hundred votes on your Steemit Post

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Here is something that many Steemians aim for when making a new post 100 votes which are mostly manually curated is a good goal to aim for if your still relatively new on this platform.

Having said this I have an average of about 75 votes per post and find it very dificult to reach the 100 mark lately.

Here are a few things you can do to get aditional votes on your blog post if you feel it needs more visibility:

  • Engage more in other peoples posts, that doesnt mean spamming just writing good replies that are relevant to the post.
  • Share you post on twitter, add some good #hashtags to go along with it and you might even manage to get a new steemian to join our Community.
  • There are several Facebook groups for sharing posts Here are a few :

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SteemitLatinoamerica/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SteemitGroup/?ref=br_rs

https://www.facebook.com/groups/steemit/?ref=br_rs

  • Share your links on Steemit chat, dont forget to observe the limit rules here for posting.
  • Use proper tags in your posts so readers can find your posts and they will more relevant to what they seek.
  • Write quality content and don't just spend 5 minutes writing a post thinking that you are going to get lucky.

It seem that Steemit have a huge problem. Manual vote is the key to success.

Yes totally agreed @novina I was doing some auto voting before but I have almost removed it completely now. Thanks for sharing your opinion

Haha I was 102nd upvoter! Congrats! Good tips in your post.. My blog entries are just one of many in a stream of posts, or should I say steem :-D
If I think I have quality to offer I have to promote it, not just write another quality post, which I did, now I've 2 posts that want to be promoted :-D talking of my astronomical "Friday Night Gaze" posts, maybe you want to check it out ;-)
Feedback is also much appreciated

you really keep pushing, I like that - so UPVOTE!

good post! I agree, the key is the manual vote, IMO. They are the ones that will continue to read regularly, and help out in the long run. Resteemed from Texas!!
