New beginnings on Steemit!

I was going to actually make this post into one of vlogs that I often ramble on but I had a few issues with uploading to Dtube for whatever reason. I wanted to talk to you guys about my @lifewithdanny account and its direction along with @writers-edge.

This account that I made a few days ago is my personal account. Something that is 100% mine. Even though this account, lucy-and-dan is pretty much just me, Dan posting on it. It didn't have the title of my own account and also often confused some people who was actually talking to them, Lucy or Dan? That is pretty much the sole reason why I created @lifewithdanny. Now on this blog if you ever choose to go there you will currently see me doing a challenge that I set out and encourage other minnows to do the same. I am trying to reach 1000 more comments within a week so when that account reaches 1109 comments I can take a break or at least slow down a little on the commenting. I never knew how much 1000 comments actually is. It takes me HOURS to pump out my daily goal of 142 comments!
What made me do this challenge?
Well whenever I ask a whale or someone that has a nice bit more power than myself I use to ask them "how can I grow my account?" Almost everyone of those people would tell me to comment and be part of a community. So with @lifewithdanny I am taking it 100% serious and im going to work my ass off with that account, So I decided to engage with the community! 1000 comments here I come!
I am not telling you guys to start spamming random posts with "nice post" or "I like this" or "follow me and upvote all my stuff because I commented on your lengthy post". I am telling you to search for posts you like and comment on them! It took me around 4 hours today to comment 142 times and in those comment I might of had a conversation with someone! You are only harming your account by spamming peoples posts so dont do that!

@writers-edge is a community that I have built with my good friend and head writer @zakludick. @writers-edge goal is to help grow any writer here on steemit. How did @writers-edge get created?
@writers-edge got created when me and @zakludick had crossed paths thanks to our mutual friend @torico, @zakludick looked at my pitiful #documentZ contest pitch that can be found here on Steemit and told me from that he wasn't interested but we got talking, and talking our combined minds then created what @writers-edge is today. As both of our accounts grow so will @writers-edge thankfully and the more contests and story's we can build with the community!
This is a collosal undertaking Dan. I shall be very impressed if you could pull it off! It is a good idea though. At this stage with work and DocumentZ getting busier I think I shall try to go for at least 10% of that target daily...

Man its so hard lol. I will also be pretty impressed if I can pull it off as well.. At the most it will take me 2 weeks but right now I am on schedule to complete it by Monday! I doubt I'll get very much time in tomorrow to get comments in tho!

Good lord, man. That's a lot of commenting. I think trying to do that much each day would drive me mad. Plus, I don't think I could carve out four hours just for that. I've got my 4th novel that is getting ready for publication right now, my 5th novel that I'm currently writing, my 3rd novel that I'm posting by the chapter here on Steemit instead of Amazon (as an experiment....it's going well, so far), and writing for clients. That takes up pretty much all of my day most days.
Kudos to you for finding the time to comment. I'm already following @lucy-and-dan. I'll follow your new account, too.
Hell yeah its a lot of comments lol! I never thought that it was going to take sooo long to actually post that many comments! I have no idea what I got myself into....
