Winning the IBT PVP random draw prize - 2.5+ Steem

Not sure if people have realised, but just by playing IBT PVP you are in a kind of lotto - this post tries to explain this a bit more.

In the IBT spirit of spreading the prizes and joy, there will also be a separate progressive drawing prize, which starts at 2.5 STEEM and grows based on the number of credits purchased by players.  Sometime after the end of the week (i.e. after the commencement post pays out), a drawing will be held and the winner of that drawing will receive the entire value of the progressive jackpot at that time.  Every credit purchased = 1 entry into the drawing.  In addition, 1 free entry may be earned for participation -- just register to play the game and use up all of your free credits to gain that free entry into the drawing.

What does all this mean.

• Your must be mad, if you don't at least use the free credits - you get entry into a lotto!
• If you aimed for one of the liquid steem prizes, but fell short - your Steem fee hasn't been lost you are in a lotto and just purchased more tickets.
• Mostly it means you supporting the people whom bought you this fun game - many hours go into the development of these games.

What can you do with your Steem winnings.

• Can play more IBT PVP - see if you can get to those higher Steem prizes
• Can buy things like Steemmonster card packs; its your Steem, do what ever you like.

• Easy just type in a reply below: !ibtbattle and a bot will respond and see how you go. You can play the game on any of the post I have posted in the last few days.

The future of IBT hangs in the balance..

IBT has been a water hole for many regular Steemit users, a place to come and relax and make some Steem while helping to develop a bot driven game. Mostly this was made possible by some very special sponsors who care deeply about the future of Steem - on behalf of all players I thank those who have helped IBT and donated Steem and other prizes, it really is an amazing community on Steemit!  

However, things are changing on Steemit, some of the regulars have dropped off and things have changed with my situation as host, I'm struggling to keep up with demands of  running IBT in a regular way..

I was going to link IBT PVP to regular IBT - that is if you reach a certain level here, you continue to play regular IBT with bonuses from the level....Unfortunately some of the feedback from the players hasn't been real positive towards continuing IBT and so IBT PVP was launched early to test people appetite.

At the end of IBT PVP -  I will do a final post to decide the fate of both regular IBT and IBT PVP on Steemit.

For now, I hope everyone has fun traveling down IBT memory lane and playing IBT PVP - it will run until the prizes have dried up.
