RE: Millions of murdered trees!? Why?
Fake trees are no good.
I thought the same before too.
The reality is that the "real" trees are more environmentally friendly because when they grow, especially in a sustainable, eco-friendly farm they contribute to filtrating the air.
Now think about the plastic trees - so much waste goes out in the air to produce a plastic tree. Most of them can't be recycled. People buy one with the intention to use it all their life, but reality is they break/people move house/people change living place/move out etc and the trees are abandoned, dumped etc therefore creating the demand for more plastic trees.
I would rather see farms in forests for real christmas trees than see factories emitting smoke to make those fake ones.
Plus - real christmas trees are bio-degradable when you talked about recycling. Now the plastic ones on other hand... a different story.
Also, forgot to say. I appreciate your intention - love seeing people think for the nature and the sustainable future for all. I'm only sharing my point of view on the matter!
