RE: @randowhale will be doing some testing!
Why, why @randowhale are you always sleeping now? Change your code or start more whale accounts to handle the load!! This is way too limiting waiting every 30 minutes to use your service now!
The way it was before was already perfect! Now have to install your spying browsing extension!!!???
No ones gonna install this spyware junk when everybody can just use steemd.com/@randowhale ! How many more hoops we have to jump thru randowhale? Too many hoops!!! Service sucks now! WAKE UP !!!!!
I cannot speak for the waiting times, but I wrote the extension and I will be clear it is not spying on your browsing. I understand being skeptical, but it is very clear what permissions a plugin has when you install it.
The extension very clearly says when you install it that it only has permission to show Desktop Notifications. It does not have permission to view data on all sites or even Steemit. If it had that ability, it would be listed in the permissions when you install it from the Google Chrome Store.
I used the least amount of permissions required. Most plugins just ask for all permissions, because, well who cares? You can see the difference when installing different plugins. All Chrome Plugins are sandboxed and can only access the resources approved during install.
You can read my previous response here.
Hello,
Thank you @themarkymark for addressing my concerns.
Do you have website where I can contact you?
Can you guys make website where other whales can join your group? Then you can use that group whale accounts to upvote individually as orders come in. This would solve the sleeping time for your service.
Thank you
I am not part of the @randowhale team, I only made the Chrome Extension, but I am on Steemit.Chat or Discord if you have questions about that. I can't speak for anything else about @randowhale as that is not my project.
Stop whining and pay more attention. As soon as randowhale hits 100% voting power, he wakes up. This can be checked here: https://steemd.com/@randowhale
You don't need to install anything.
In fact, he'll wake up in one minute now. Be ready !
Quit crying about how you can't pay a bot to turn a profit.... Gaming the system for profit violates the guidelines set forth in the Steem Whitepaper, and it's my belief that people should not be able to use bots to upvote their own content.
If you want more money, work harder...
Calm down @lisaerna there's no need to lash out at someone who's only trying to help you. I gave you an upvote because I don't think it's fair for people to downvote your opinion of this situation. Steemit is or should be about freely expressing your concerns w/o being flagged down for it.
