Fall of censored centralized social media and defense of Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

It's a joy to look how centralized governments are killing censored centralized social media, but…

…as much as it look like a good news for Steemit, it's just a step towards the hottest point in transition to decentralised media because…

…after they finish with the centralized and censored social media monsters, the decentralized media will come to their attention. Can you imagine the ways of attacking Steemit? Please comment if you can, because we should think of Steemit defense, right now.

I will create a parallel social media site, which pays more than steemit (I can print too and use the crypto on blockchain leverage as well)

Do it my dear @mathworksheets, make it decentralized, and I'll be glad to open first account on it! 😊

I will disguise like decentralize but control it indirect (like a shadow government).

Oh, you mean you would do it if you are a state or a big corporation… Yes, Amazon and Facebook will surely introduce their, centralized coins when the decentralized competition starts to look dangerous.

Hahaha. Yes I mean I being the state. I think most people will at least reduce their time on steemit (if they don't leave it at all), if another govenment controlled site pays you more than steemit and in some sort of crypto.

That's one possible way of soft attack, good shot @mathworksheets

It would be helpful to stop listening at the Central Polit Bureau and their minions. Most importantly - I will never accept a label from anyone - without label - they can't put us in a box to control us.

We have to monitor their intentions @globocop, as long as they have a dangerous monopoly to the use of force. Thank for your support

Oh - we do know their intentions. It's the tactics and strategies they employ. The good news is: They have not changed since the invention of Mass Media. We need to raise awareness - and call them out every opportunity we have.

Thank YOU for your stance!

They will never control us steemians

I would like you are right @hotandrandom, but I can never be sure in one system, no matter how good it is. The times will change when the web evolution gives us predominantly decentralised media like Steemit.
