RE: Interesting Q & A about Steemit.

in #steemit7 years ago

Thoughtful post. I have been steeming since late December and tracking my pace of growth. Slow and steady wins the race. There is something that i seem to be missing that could make the experience more satisfying, something that suppresses quality in favor of whale fishing material.

I want to try something new, but need a coaching session, geared to somebody who had to learn social media after missing all the development stage of the phenomena. For instance, Is there a way that we can chat here, without full public view?
Also, bandwidth limitations in rural areas are a problem in interactive media. I don't like 5 G - or 4 G for that matter - how does one play the steemit game better with access constraint?

I just joined Steemit a week ago, so I may not be the best person to coach you, but I am flattered. I have noticed that the time you post and the tag you use must be considered. Look at which tags you will use , then check the times you normally post and see what kind of people are upvoting around that time. If they don't speak your language or there isn't much engagement I have noticed it can be a problem. Also, use all services and support you can, for example check out: https://steemfollower.com/?r=12904
You simply go on there and upvote at least 5 posts every day up to 15 and it earns you one upvote per day proportional to what you have contributed. Also use your upvotes for legit stuff you really like and don't just vote for everything you see. When you vote on there make like 2-3 votes, then come back after 36 hours and do 2-3 more. This keeps your voting power high so that when they upvote your posts they will be higher.
Also, check out https://steembottracker.com, scroll to the bottom and use things like otobot and red-rose its like .05 SBD for a resteem and upvote. Also search minnow support services, there are many places that if you simply follow they will upvote your posts for you.

In terms of quality, I would not change my content on here just to game it. I would not enjoy it if that was the case. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't do it. I actually use the blog as a way to sort out my thoughts too, writing a post often results in like 5-10 tangents that I decide to remove from the post and use as idea for a full separate post. So the posts are also helping me to collect my thoughts for my businesses where all of my posts are being applied and used on daily basis.

Lastly, if you want to contact me then go to www.Mayflower.Insurance and fill out contact form and just say your from Steemit and I will email you. I don't want to post it here and get spammed by bots.
