FIRST UNIVERSITY BLOCK CHAIN CENTER LAUNCHED IN TURKEY
The vision of closing the gap in the blockchain expertise along with mass deployment of the technology has urged Turkey to establish its very first university level blockchain center.
Established in the heart of the Turkey known as the Istanbul Blockchain & Innovation Center was inaggurated in BAU (BAHCESEHIR UNIVERSITY). According to the director of the university: "The newly founded center is set to be the most core and innovative center of reaserach and will develop Turkey's scientific studies and publications over blockchain.
On the other hand institutions in the world already have embraced the benefits of blockchain. This year Standforf University Established the center for blockchain in calibration with the ethereum network and one of the major Brazilian university started offering the masters degree in crypto finnance. Ripple also donated 50 millions $ to 17 universities globally to support education in blockchain and crypto.
Lets note a point here last year in November, the Turkish government took a harsh stance on BITCOIN (BTC) and said; 'BTC is not compatible with Islam". but later this year in February, the Turkish government mentioned the possibility of the national digital currency, called the TURK COIN.

@khurshid2017, Do you mean the Turkish government is thinking about replacing the Turkish Lira with a crypto currency, the Turk Coin?
Its not thinking about replacement there are few things shaping up as we approach 2023 the year when an agreement will be ended up and Turkey will be on the driving seat. Turkey wants to encash cryptography and blockchain technologies and will be producing its own digital currency as we approach 2023.
@khurshid2017, The Turkish government is very enlightened in their thinking on cryptography and the blockchain. However, some other countries are ahead of Turkey in this respect: Venezuela, The Marshall Islands and possibly China.
