What I would use my Steemit money on....
I would build myself (and for you all to view too) the most ridiculously awesome fermentation, weird food growing, technology riddled blog ever. I would talk about all the weirdest stuff - kombucha, tempeh, natto, kerif, fish sauces (like budu and others), and weird international fermented foods. I am US based and we have a noticable love of pickles. I would love to be able to make all kinds of weird fermented foods and drinks. I am talking beer, tea, soda pop, smoothies - all of it. You can also make sauces and condiments. I would put all my profit from this thing into buying supplies to do that.
I would love to be able to show you all pickles (which I am the bomb at), sauerkraut, kimchi, and whatever I can get my hands on. There are some really weird foods out there like Hakarl, Skyr, Jeotgal, natto, and I need to eat it. I need to find it and eat it.
I would also be interested in building a Farmbot (https://farmbot.io/) system and making all my vegetables (THAT I COULD USE FOR MY FERMENTATIONS - YES!) and also show you another obsession: mushrooms.
It only costs like a few hundred dollars and a little time to become a certified mushroom identifier. Once you have that, then you can actually move into the sell and production of mushrooms. This helps you sell to stores and could up your money that you can earn. You think I am joking? You can earn a very good amount of money a year growing mushrooms and selling them. It's the best thing ever.
As for the technology, that would be fueling efforts like my podcast and my research (which I'll have to do another post on).
If I had a bunch of Steemit dollars, I'd figure out how to do that.
Oh, people, wait. I am talking long term ferments because I want to learn how to make Pine Needle Tea. Yeah, that's a thing. It can take like 6 months to create and I want to ensure that I do it right!
