Haha, I honestly think Bernie Sanders is taking that whole thing a bit far. I no doubt assigned some blame to the people encouraging bitconnect, but I also said that I put just as much blame on the people investing. They're grown ass people, and I don't really feel too much sympathy for either party. I don't think it's fair that Bernie has downvoted him into oblivion though. (Not to mention the fact that prior to that, his vote was actually worth something to the people he followed, and he was known for upvoting a lot of smaller producers. So now when he does give an upvote, it's not really worth anything. Who exactly is Bernie upvoting and helping out? Ugh, so frustrating. Anyway, I digress.)
You should hear the song I wrote for today if you thought this was keepin' it real, bahaha!
Bernie strikes me as rather volatile and reactive. Sometimes he reacts justifiably against serious abuse and other times he seems like the more abusive one.
Between him, Ned, and the Haejin situation there seems to be a lot of SP managed by people without much maturity.
Better watch yourself...you're walking a fine line right now... Don't be a dick. Nobody else has the "maturity" to do what needs to be done to keep this shit alive. Maybe you're looking at it from the wrong perspective.
It's possible. My perspective changes often on this platform. I feel like it's just a never ending onion that I am peeling the layers away from, learning more about everyday. I think it's that way for a lot of users. Most people new to Steem assume haejin is great because he has so many followers, then their perspective changes. No one here is perfect, that's for sure, but I have time and again recognized your efforts in our #fight4steem and believe you have single-handedly been responsible for haejin's recent losses, and that's pretty awesome.
I appreciate your efforts to counter Haejin and I'm not trying to be a dick. I think we're both trying to give Steem as much chance of success as we can, but this is exactly what I'm talking about. If it bothers you that I think you overreact at times then threatening me for mentioning it may not be your most productive approach.
I've been fighting abuse on here enough to have some empathy for how frustrating it is, and I don't have nearly as much of an investment to lose as you do if it gets completely overrun.
