The first thing we can do to build trust with our children is: "Enter their world."

We really have to take this seriously, the idea is to see the world from their perspective, we have to identify with them. This is very enriching since it allows us to change our idea of things, our perspective, it also changes our idea of our son.

This exercise is very revealing for us and enriching since any question of the child in any aspect of her life will allow her to feel heard and understood. Imagine that this happens with us at our age, that someone understands us and listens to us in all our matters, whether they are work, partner, etc.

When we have issues and we want to tell people we trust and we expect them to listen carefully, in the case of children it is exactly the same, they expect us, "whom they trust" to pay attention and validate their ideas.

How do we achieve it? We can implement this with quality time, although for us it is simply important to sit down and talk, for our children it is much easier and more interesting to share games or hobbies. These actions from childhood are extremely important, and even more so in adolescence, but it is not necessary to wait until then, let's not miss the opportunity to create bonds of trust with our children and let's start today with a game, sharing a story, etc.
