Grow Faster & Make More Money on SteemIt

I think it's time we address the elephant in the room. "How To Make More Money On SteemIt"
Everyone is wondering, right?

Well first things First, if you're only on steemit to make money, You've Already failed.
Why? well, because you've lost sight of how this works.

As we all know, Steemit is not just another way to earn Cryptocurrency. It's a social network as well. Another platform.
So just like any social media platform, you would use it as it was intended to be used (as a social network). You can not join and think "im going to just post random things and expect lots of money,"

Because that's not going to work.

1st.
You need to analyze and see How SteemIt works. just like any social platform, there is a certain style to the content . We like to call that "Native Content." in other words, Content that works seamlessly with the normal everyday posts you'd see on that platform.

2nd.
you need to use the platform, the way it was meant to be used. Create Content , Vote up other peoples posts, Resteem, Reply and be constantly active. You know, the normal things you would do if it were something like Facebook.

You cant expect to just have an account, post once in a while, and be done with it. That's probably why most of your Instagram accounts are dry. Interaction is part of marketing. you gain trust, and build relationships with your audience and they'll come back for more.

3rd.
NATIVE CONTENT.
your posts are vital to your followers! scroll through steemit, view top posts and take a look at how they are laid out. figure out the formula and use it!

these posts get voted up for a reason, and that's because they're posts that people, not only WANT to see, but EXPECT to see on there feed. you wouldn't go to Ebay to watch videos right? you wouldn't go to YouTube to read books right?
Native content looks just like any other post you'd see on what ever platform you're using, now its up to you to bring the spice. Choose an Appealing title , Choose appealing photos, gifs or videos, choose the right terminology, and most of all length.

Now you're probably wondering, "what do you mean by 'length'?"
Every platform has an idle "Length" for posts. for example Instagram, people are there for photos and short videos that are eye candy, so your captions need to be short and tasty. they don't want to read for too long. 5 seconds is too long.

For Steemit, posts are normally long and detailed. so what do you use to spice it up and keep the reader reading?

Yup! You git it! cool, visually attractive , and relatable gifs, photos or even videos in the story. be sure that these are not intruding or colliding with your post, but instead, aiding and interacting with your posts. these are attention grabbers, meant to bring back the readers attention after reading a paragraph or so.

Lastly, choose the correct tags for your post. tags that compliment your post and not tags that have nothing to do with your post. for example, i would not tag this "travel" if it has nothing to do with traveling.

Remember, be part of the community. use it just as you would use any social media platform. the money is a bonus.

thank you for reading! Feel free to follow for more posts.

Good effort!

But would you think someone like me needs to take an advise from a 25 rep?

I'm not being offensive, please don't take any offense. Even i gave great deliberation before posting my own "How-to" type posts addressed only to people newer than me. here and here.

People on Steemit likes posts about steemit, yes. But we LOVE posts about personal stuff. post something about yourself! get reputation and know the people around, get known! you'll followers faster that way.

Hope i helped!

although i might be new on steemit, doesn't mean i'm new to social media marketing ;)

Right on that!

It's great that you know what you're doing.

When you mentioned you have prior experience im kinda reminded to the guy @stackin. That guy... now that guy ISNT NEW to social media marketing.

nice! im glad he joined steemit sooner than i did.

it says that the page is unavailable. did you type it correctly?

My bad! Edited and corrected.
