RE: The Truth About Upvotes On Steemit ✅

in #steemit7 years ago

Most if not all big votes comes from "vote selling" or "friend to friend" votes. Having no friends or no investment in this platform is really really hard. I have been there.

What's more maddening is that dolphins and whales always say "If you want votes, write quality content" like that's the only requirement for getting a vote. Someone could write a 1000 word post and would most probably got no views. It's sad.

Indeed, the difference between taking 2 minutes to post a couple pictures of your cat each day compared to taking an hour or more to make a post in rewards is usually very marginal which can be quite discouraging to many to put effort into it all. Steemit also highly rewards daily consistet posting instead of 1 weekly solid post.

Lol That is why I am envious on people who have friends and connections in here. If I had a whale following me, I would had already done the same lol jk I do enjoy writing from time to time though, the rewards however are disheartening
