A beautiful WAVE of my creative friends have joined Steemit! Get a brief intro to who these cool cats are and follow them right here!

I was inspired to join Steemit last October by @quantumanomaly, after he'd been talking with me for a couple of months about the awesomeness here. @tltran helped, too. :)

Once I joined, I found local friends in @giftedgaia, @winstonwolfe, and @sykochica through @steemittalk, then branched out further when I had the opportunity to meet @papa-pepper, @stellabelle, and others at our Springfield Meetup a few months ago.

Since I joined Steemit, I've been trying to get other creative friends on board, and I've been using the devil that is Facebook to do it...and it's finally actually working.

@starrkravenmaf joined up and started posting her photographs...very cool. She actually just posted an amazing album of photos she took of a concert I played a couple of weeks ago that you can check out here..

Then @d-ro and @robbied joined the fold contributing music-related content and other awesomeness. Hopefully they'll both be posting a lot more in the upcoming weeks and months, as I know they're busy making great music. I'll be bragging on them both in a post really soon.

Lately, however, I've been pushing a little harder on Facebook. Especially with Steem and BTC prices up, people can literally see that there is money to be made here.

@jasonrussell joined in January, his wife @melodyrussell joined soon after, and since then Jason has become very involved in the photographic community here, and is even guest-judging the Steemit Photo Challenge this week!!! He has seen real money come into his account little by little, and is saving up for better photo equipment so he can further his art.

@hethur240, who I've known most of my life, posts of Missouri homesteading life, as well as the brilliance of Ozarks mycology, foraging and wildflowers. Her Missouri Wildflowers series has been most enjoyable. She loves nature, loves animals, is one of the most intelligent people I know, and has some really great posts that need more love. If you're not following her, you're missing out.

@rockchickjen is a new user and one of my best friends. She has great taste in music, a wide variety of creative interests, and she and I have made music together in various capacities for over 10 years at this point, and I'm really excited to see what she brings to the platform. She and her husband contributed a great cover of "Nothing Compares 2 U" to the Steemit Open Mic this week, and you can listen to that by clicking here.

@innerverse is an amazing podcast and just general resource for all things vibrations and spirituality and creativity. Chance is doing great things over there. Check him out and follow...art, music, intelligence, wisdom.

@bubbajones has met/seen/supported more rock music than anyone else I know, and has awesome stories to tell. In addition to being a huge lover and general supporter of ALL MUSIC, he also has a podcast with his friend Ed Tucker called Bubba Loves Ed, and I'm really stoked for Bubba to be among us sharing his stories, humor, wit, and general awesomeness in content. Follow him.

@devlinpierce is a singer-songwriter and talent manager with years of experience and some amazing music. He plays solo as well as with his band Devlin Pierce and The Song, as well as being a very active member of the Springfield-local music scene. I'm not sure if he's posted anything yet--but look out for when he does.

@chrisgoans is a singer-songwriter who fuses together acoustic music with hip-hop and is doing some really interesting things these days. He performs an array of music, and you can actually check out his original song for his Steemit Open Mic submission for this week here.

@stacyloveswilco is a writer with a diverse array of interests and a passion for helping others. She hasn't posted anything yet, but she's another you will want to follow. She's a great writer with a great mind, and I'm sure is going to bring great content to the platform.

@johnbutler is another incredibly talented singer-songwriter who is fresh to the platform. He plays a wide variety of music--everything from acoustic singer-songwriter stuff to metal and punk rock. His sensibilities are diverse, he's incredibly intelligent, and I look forward to seeing what he brings to us here.

@elderberrydepot is a startup that I'm really excited to see in our Steemit platform both from an educational standpoint, as well as hopefully an economic standpoint as well. Elderberries have amazing immune-boosting properties of which I have directly seen the benefits, and the folks behind this project are passionate about bringing Missouri elderberries to the masses, as well as helping farmers learn about sustainable elderberry farming practices. They haven't posted yet, but be on the lookout.

PLEASE FOLLOW AND SHOW SOME LOVE TO THESE STEEMIANS

Damn, you've literally brought a posse of people on board! That's awesome! I need to actually poke some facebook peoples again to join us.

I've been doing regular FB posting about Steemit and it's raised a lot of eyebrows and questions and has ultimately resulted in quite a few sign ups, with hopefully a lot more coming in the next couple of weeks among my group.

I'm still running into problems concerning people believing that BTC can become USD. (Of course, the longer I'm into cryptocurrency, the less I want anything to do with BS US fiat, but that aside...).

@thecryptofiend posted a nice succinct article about it today...I shared it on Facebook and think a couple of people had their "lightbulb moments," so that is exciting, but I'm realizing that simply sharing steemithelp.net isn't getting people to read all of it.

Getting folks to the point of, "This literally is not as hard as it looks," enough to go ahead and dive in has been really tough.

I digress...FB blasting is working for me in my world, and I imagine it would work in your world as well. :)

Cheers!! Hope to see you again sooner than later!

You are too kind! Thank you! Much love your way.

You know I'm too sarcastic in general to be 'too kind,' so it must just be that I'm honest. Mean every word of it. You are quite welcome. All the love to you, my friend.

Supposedly @johnbutler will be introducing himself today!!!!!

Get on his ass to get to postin'.

You're so awesome Jesso! I upvoted and followed! Thanks for sharing some cool people!

Girl, I am sooooo stoked that you're in this community now. You have no idea...so pumped. I think you could really dig into your creative processes and your acoustic stuff along with the full band stuff (which by the way, you could start a separate band page under a different number for that specific content).

I'm just excited to see you creatively flourish here. It's gonna happen. It's already happening. :)

I agree! I've already found so many awesome blogs that have given me info and ideas! Only problem is... I can't get off of Steemit! Haha! Of course I'm still learning though, so that also takes time. ;)

Take that time, just feel it out, and make your content. It's okay to explore here, unlike most of the world, and to actually be genuinely appreciated as well as monetarily rewarded for the hard work you do within the platform.

Also, one of the things that blew me away about Steemit is that people actually like to read about stuff instead of one sentence BS with no meaning.

I could go on forever. Obviously, I love it here, and so I'm just as obviously pumped for you to benefit from it as well. Amazing community within this platform. Some really cool people.

Oh definitely! I know that I'm not even a speck of the way into all the interesting things! Plus everyone's so positive and helpful! It really seems as if you're in front of everyone talking or jamming your music! No one's afraid to comment or lend a hand and I love that! I needed a place where I can find help and feedback without feeling like I'm being ignored or shoved aside!!! I'm addicted already. Haha!

I knew you'd love it here. The community starts to feel like the special part and the Steem is just a bonus. Everyone is awesome and helpful, as folks here are always stoked when cool people with cool and interesting content join up. I've made some great friends from literally here all around the globe, and they are genuine relationships just because we are all so creatively raw with each other around here.

That's the feeling I got too! 💚

Folllloowwwwinnngg evvveryyyoneeeee!

This whole thing has me just beyond excited, Jason. Like for real. I hope you get some more followers out of it, too!!!

Welcome all. Gonna check you all out now.

I love seeing networking in action! My heart is so happy right now!!!

In deed, a great bunch of friends alright!

It was really cool to read this article as it feels like both a tribute to Steemit as well as all you friends, new and old. I love cross-referencing and cross-postings like yours. AWESOM WROK!!!

Thanks for sharing and namaste :)

I know you will find some cool stuff that you will definitely dig among my friends! I feel like we, especially among the creative communities, are all friends here anyway, so it's my absolute pleasure to help introduce these folks to this great community we have here.

I also love to see creative networking on all levels, so of course I want to help connect as many cool, creative people with as many cool, creative people as possible! :)

All for one and one for all! Namaste :)

Welcome epic creative posse!! <3

Nice way to introduce and link people.. great post

Thank you so much for checking it out!!

Another of my great friends, @thisiskrista, just joined as well--be sure to follow her adventures!!

I love you!!!!! Can't wait to read you thousands of thoughts!!! hahaha <3!

Isn't it lovely how networking works by itself?

Yes. It's one of my favorite things to see in action.
