Hornet

Definition

Hornet is a flying insect that is easily recognizable because it is known to sting when disturbed and its striking color in some species. Wasps are included in the order Hymenoptera which also consists of ants and bees.

Anatomy
Hornet as a member of the phylum Arthropod has no deep frame, but its body is covered by an outer shell called the exoskeleton. The color of the outer shell varies where in the wasp of the familia Vespidae, its body is strikingly yellow and black as a warning to other animals so as not to disturb it if it does not want to be stung. The body of the wasp is also barely covered with hair.
