Nope! Hacks aren't good for us. Reporting exploits by whitehats is what is good.
Blackhat hackers always think this way. "I'm helping by hacking and stealing, so they can fix it".
Whitehat hackers find loopholes and exploits and don't do anything with it other than report it. That's way different.
Hackers collecting bug bounties good for us? Nope.
I'm saying it's good that it's happening early. This would be way more devastating if SteemIt had a higher market cap than Bitcoin and had all the media attention which that brings.
