RE: Part 2 - Body painting 2 beautiful girls in front of Lamborghinis on Valentine's Day
Awesome post! Can I just say, when you are promoting upvotes through bid-bots, that if the total bid is greater than the voting power of the bot, then you lose money. Not just you lose money either, your high ranking bid makes everyone in that round of bidding lose money. It is a simple formula: If the total bids are less than the voting power of the bot, then you make a profit (keep in mind the 25% that goes to the curators). So there you have it! Just check the total bid value against the bots total bidding power and make sure the total bids add up to less than the total voting power and you will have a winner! Adding stupid high value last minute bids to small value bots and you lose money for everyone... either way you get to choose. Hope this helps in future?
thanks for taking the time to explain this to me.. I am super new and watched a video on youtube and didn't exactly understand this whole bot thing. But I have had the account send me money back because something didn't work, so I just thought if I send more it will work. But I appreciate your comment. Thank you.
You are welcome. each bot has a minimum and a maximum bid as guidelines. If the total bid's are nearing the bot's total voting power it probably is best to wait for a more profitable bot. Bot's actually work very well as long as the bidders understand and do not get greedy! Large bids on small bots just do not work. It is best to wait to the last few minutes and bid on bots that have a low amount of total bids to vote value ratio. If lots of bidders are new and making mistakes it is probably better to wait until they have moved on before joining the bidding because they make everyone lose lol. If you click the bots "details" you can see if the bot is likely to be profitbale or not before you make a commitment. Good luck :)
huge info. thanks!
