Mini hedgehogs are commonly known as small mammals with rigid layers, which are pointy spines covering their backs. They have pointed noses, and rather prominent eyes lie on the sides of their faces. Their ears are usually round, though in some species, may be elongated, and lie high on the sides of the head. They have a small and short tail, and are functionally very little used. They can roll up like a spiny ball when threatened.
