Steemit, You Can Be Better. Here's How.
Within just days of joining steemit, I have to say I'm impressed. The fact that this platform has the power to make us, the not so famous people stand out from the crowd. If steemit wasn't there, I would be spending so much money writing blogs to get noticed and it will be so tough as I don't have any social media influence. I'm first of all thankful for steemit for this opportunity to express my thaughts.
Steemit, You Can Be Better!
Yes, You steemit have this huge potential inside you. You're just not able to express it. Enough with this blabbing, I'm going straight towards the point.
We Steemians has the power to post an article, upvote, comment and follow. And we can make money from doing these. But as the Popularity increasing day by day, it is clear that spam accounts are creating spammy posts just to make money. They're not thinking about the quality of the content. As a result of these boots, The real users are getting furstrated. After reading this post, please go to home page and checkout The newest posts. You'll find that some of them will surely be spam. This is hugely affecting the price of steem and now is just the start. We don't know where will this get us to. So it's time for us Steemians to act on this.
What can Steemit do to put an end to this ?
• Enable earnings for flagging spammy content.
What I meant is, we now has the ability to flag posts. But most of us aren't using it. If there is a system where we can earn by flagging spam posts, it will be a perfect platform to be engaged in.
Now the question is, If they did that, will there be a flagging carnival going on ?
The solution is, Take YouTube for example. When someone report a video, the video gets reviewed manually. This way they can find if the video is inappropriate or not. It will be nice if steemit can also implement this feature.
Suggestions
• Each user should only have a limited power to flag posts.
• If a post is flagged and found out to be inappropriate, The People flagged it should be rewarded.
That's it guys. We're all in this for growing together as a community. These are just my suggestions to make steemit an even better place.
Please upvote if you think this might benefit steemit. I want them to see it
Thanks for reading.
