RE: The Lunyr Project ICO – A New Age Ecosystem of Knowledge and the Lunyr Economy - PART 2
I have to be honest, I'm not convinced that we need to a "Superior Wikipedia". Wikipedia is one of the greatest things to come out of the internet, and it feels like a if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of thing.
What problems does Wikipedia have that Lunyr will solve? I read this post but I'm not really seeing it.
The problem with Wikipedia is that the information is not curated by anybody, or if people do curate the information, they do it in their own time, if and when they come across the information . There is no incentive for anybody to fact check information in Wikipedia, whereas with Lunyr, there is.
The Ethereum platform has allowed Lunyr to be crated where contributors and curators are rewarded financially for their input and efforts, and will be continually compensated to continue to make Lunyr the new age Wikipedia.
I suggest you join the Slack Channel to find out more. The devs are always available to answer any questions.
Thanks for taking the time to read it.
