I mean some reasons could be more dominant than others but I think they all play a part. I guess this is the blockchain democracy for us. We can do pretty much whatever we want..... post, shit post, no post, etc.

Still we have ways to go before we can become mainstream and frankly I think the app carrying the Steem blokhchain into the future probably won't be steemit.
