Introducing Hallam Hope

So who is Hallam Hope, you wondered from following my posts on Steemit. Or could not care less (smh).
I am a 63-yar-old writer, journalist, Crypto champion, renewable energy, marketing communications, alternative health, project management certified consultant looking for new business opportunities.
All of my life I have been helping people, particularly young people, develop careers in journalism and other areas. My late parents Kenneth and Dorothy did the same as teachers and in the case my mother, as a family planning executive. But as the air hostess wold tell you if you are travelling with a child, help yourself first to your oxygen mask so you can help the child.
I have had the good fortune of international training in communications and international experience. So as we gain experience writing and life we all can write and post on Steemit and hopefully share valuable ideas and make some money. And the better your skills are the quicker you can write and post.
Growing up in the small island of Barbados as taught me the value of community sharing. Barbados is just 166 square miles and we say a smile wide. It’s a prime tourist destination so it help to be friendly and caring by nature. Not only to keep the tourism dollars coming back to help pay for imports of goods and services.
I am also inspired by my wife Michalyn and two daughters who are achieving new heights in academia abroad.
I have also learn that preparation, a plan and hard work pay off. They helped me become a senior editor with a regional news agency and earn the distinction of being one of the top draughts players on the island.
They helped me in sports such as golf and table tennis and now in my new venture of Crypto Currency investing. As Jerry Banfield notes in his Steemit posts if you do what you like even if you do not make money there are still benefits.
Steemit provides an opportunity for writers, skilled or otherwise, to share with a global audience, attract readership and friends and might be an opportunity to make money.
It is also an opportunity to learn and perhaps build business contacts or friends.
As a member of the board of directors of the Barbados Renewable Energy Association I champion the value of investing in renewable energy. Crypto Currency opportunities such as Steemit can help to build a new world where we are more independent financially and intellectually. Where we do not depend on banks to keep our money and pay us to do it, for them to profit.
A community such as Steemit can also help us avoid mistakes in the Crypto world which may be costly. We will all make mistakes, but I have also always valued learning from the mistakes of others.
