As a minnow, I'm allowed to make 3 transactions per day... will Steemit survive hardfork 20?
On the first day with a full battery I was able to transact 28 times, then the next day, I was able to transact 3 times, which seems to now be the norm.
Although I think this was a great way to rid the Steem blockchain of third worlders and their spam, do any of you believe 3 transactions per day for new users will be enough to convince new users to stick around long-term?
Growth is the most important factor in the life expectancy of a social platform, and unless the whales on here start producing high-quality content, which they don't at the moment, can we really expect outsiders to even stop in and see what's going on... let alone purchase any Steem?
Oh, and before I go, understand that although the third worlders have been flushed down the shitter here on the Steem blockchain, understand that the bots are still here and in full force.
Although I will admit, scammers like Trevon James, and his sidekick Craig Grant have been severely injured post hardfork 20, because they get botted over 600 up-votes per post still, but it doesn't seem to be bringing in the 100's of dollars per post like they used to.
What are your thoughts, assuming you can leave them post hardfork 20, because you may have already depleted your mana, and unfortunately cannot comment?
You might just want to stop posting for a few days to let your RC recharge.
Check your stats at https://steemd.com/@grumpster so you know how much more you can post/vote and plan your activity around those stats.
If you're interested, I'm running a delregation contest on my blog this week
