Samsung starts working with blockchain technology
Samsung joined Blockchain to invest in two companies using this technology through its affiliate Samsung SDS. The first is Blocko a firm of South Korea has a Blockchain based platform called CoinStack, this functions as a distributed database and the second company is Darktrace a cybersecurity startup that is valued at $ 100,000,000.
The firm said in a statement:
"Samsung SDS will increase the competitiveness of their business and security services by promoting sales of the solution of defense against cyber threats Darktrace and work with Blocko (Coinstack) to support the commercialization of emerging Blockchain technology in various sectors, including the IoT. "
The investments were carried out through an investment fund for new technologies, which Samsung subsidiary owns 99% of the shares and is run in conjunction with Samsung Venture Investment Corporations (SVIC).
At the moment the amount of money you have invested the South Korean giant Samsung is unknown. However, again it is striking how companies and banks are investing greater global influence in Blockchain projects. Undoubtedly, the future of digital companies seems to pass by "block chain".
