Hola queridos lectores, espero estén todos bien!

Hoy quiero traerles algo un poco diferente, y al referirme de "un poco" me refiero a que no será un movimiento o una pieza comentada desde mi punto de vista, sino que les hablaré de una orquesta que se realizaba cada cierto tiempo en mi país, específicamente de la Sinfónica Infantil Nacional de Venezuela de 2010.

Esta orquesta se hizo realizando audiciones a nivel nacional, en cad estado/provincia, donde los maestros del Sistema Nacional de Orquesta hicieron una selección de niños, desde los 10 hasta los 17 años. Esta orquesta iba a ser representación del país.

Tuve la oportunidad de ser parte de ella siendo uno de los más pequeños, era una experiencia muy nueva y linda. Tenía como 10 u 11 años.

Al dar los resultados por rondas y verme en la lista no pude dejar de sorprenderme, y la emoción obviamente, era gigante, tanto la mía cómo la de mis padres.

Tiempo después nos mandaron información de que los ensayos se harían en la capital, en Caracas, siendo ésta la primera vez que iba a pasar tanto tiempo sin mis padres (no me afectó tanto cómo creía)

La Orquesta ya estando en Caracas ensayaba en las mañanas, en las tardes y en la noche, realizando grandes jornadas de ensayo de la Primera Sinfonía de Mahler donde el famoso director Gustavo Dudamel nos hacía ensayos y que el concierto sería nada más y nada menos que con Sir Simon Rattle, ex director de la Filarmónica de Berlín.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa el conocer a tantos niños talentosos, las amistades en esos encuentros de la Nacional fueron grandes, muchas de ellas aún las tengo hoy por hoy, estando todos los integrantes o la gran mayoría, repartidos por el mundo.

Imagínense algo... Una orquesta infantil bajo la batuta de uno de los mejores directores del mundo, haciendo un repertorio cómo Primera de Mahler en el Aula Magna de la UCV, a sala llena, ¡es una idea muy loca! Pero se hizo.

Se demostró que a edad temprana se puede hacer repertorio de las orquestas profesionales, a gran nivel. Y quedó demostrado nuevamente, con otras generaciones, que se sigue poder haciendo... Años más tarde se harían varias Nacionales, las cuales harían concierto en La Scala de Milan y Salzburgo, nada más y nada menos.

Sinceramente no sé si esto ha sucedido en otros paises del mundo, pero lo que sí sé es que muy pocas veces se logran ver cosas así. Y es por ello, para que ustedes sean participes de esto y vean esta experiencia, que para muchos nos quedó grabada. Abrazos!!

Today I want to bring you something a little different, and by referring to "a little" I mean that it will not be a movement or a piece commented from my point of view, but rather I will tell you about an orchestra that was performed every so often in my country , specifically from the 2010 National Children's Symphony of Venezuela.

This orchestra was held by holding auditions nationwide, in each state / province, where teachers from the National Orchestra System made a selection of children, from 10 to 17 years old. This orchestra was to be a representation of the country.

I had the opportunity to be part of it being one of the smallest, it was a very new and beautiful experience. I was like 10 or 11 years old.

By giving the results by rounds and seeing myself on the list I could not help being surprised, and the emotion was obviously gigantic, both mine and my parents'.

Some time later they sent us information that the rehearsals would be held in the capital, in Caracas, this being the first time that I would spend so much time without my parents (it did not affect me as much as I thought)

The Orchestra already being in Caracas rehearsed in the mornings, in the afternoons and at night, holding great rehearsal days of Mahler's First Symphony where the famous conductor Gustavo Dudamel performed rehearsals for us and that the concert would be nothing more and nothing less than with Sir Simon Rattle, former conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic.

It was a wonderful experience to meet so many talented children, the friendships in those meetings of the National were great, many of them I still have today, with all the members or the vast majority, spread throughout the world.

Imagine something ... A children's orchestra under the baton of one of the best conductors in the world, doing a repertoire like Mahler's First in the UCV Aula Magna, in a full hall, is a very crazy idea! But it was done.

It was shown that at a young age you can make a repertoire of professional orchestras at a high level. And it was demonstrated again, with other generations, that it continues to be able to do ... Years later several Nationals would become, which would make a concert at La Scala in Milan and Salzburg, nothing more and nothing less.

I honestly do not know if this has happened in other countries of the world, but what I do know is that very few things can be seen. And that is why, so that you can participate in this and see this experience, which for many of us was recorded. Hugs!!
