I Told Binance Exactly What I Thought Of Their Involvement With the Attempted Steem Coup - This Was Their Response
I have been a long standing customer with Binance for years now. For the most part I have always enjoyed a reliable and efficient service, but not overly sympathetic towards their fee structure but hey I guess you get what you pay for. Anyway I've always maintained a large degree of respect for Binance, that was up until Monday when they decided to collude with a certain Justin Sun by using depositors Steem holdings, install fake witnesses and help seize control of the Steem blockchain. Sorry Binance but that shit isn't on.
I have now made the decision that I can no longer support Binance and have withdrawn all my holdings. But that still didn't make feel great. So I then decided to give them some 'feedback'. They basically tried to tell me they have never done anything wrong with user funds. I wasn't having any of that bullshit.
You know, someone who buys into Steem should have done due diligence, Justin must have known about the ninja stake and the purpose of what its supposed to be used for. The soft fork should have prompted a dialogue between him, the witnesses and the community where he could have been informed, even he genuinely didn't know, about the ninja stake and he wouldn't have then been 'forced' into a hostile takeover - JUSTIN KNEW!
We can all do our bit. Even first tier front line feedback will help a little. The more Binance knows from its customers that what they got involved in is unacceptable then the better it is for the whole cryptosphere, and hopefully they will be dissuaded from engaging in practices like this ever again. You can do your bit also.
Let them know it's not on. And Steem on.

Yes I couldn't agree more. He's either lying and playing dirty tricks to take over the chain or he is plainly negligent and needs to inject some intelligence into his approach to business, I would suggest the former.

Even at the front line level of customer service the more push backs we give Binance the more it might reach higher up the chain and hopefully they will seriously consider engaging in any shit like this ever again.

But they now have a liquidity problem.
