Hi @crypticus welcome to Steemit. I am a teacher and I asked all my creative writing students to sign up for steemit. They write under the gedwriting tag, and there are specific groups that follow these kids. You are welcome to use the tag. I think it is wonderful that you have a teacher like that. My students post all their essays and projects on Steemit and it is amazing to see what some of them come up with. You will never look back. Good luck with your journey here on Steemit, and if you struggle, please ask and I will gladly help. How amazing is it that you can create a passive income by sitting on your butt and not run around like crazy in a restaurant...lol...
Haha yeah the passive income opportunity is great. I'm really grateful to know about Steemit so early on! Thanks for that, and yeah I've been planning for a while to put my schoolwork on Steemit I'm just waiting until I have an essay or story, etc. to post. I think that's awesome what you're doing with your students too. Great to see more and more young people joining Steemit. I'll check out your blog.
