A Serene Place where anyone can seek Peace!! #Churches
Hey my dear Friends... Here I am with some cool pics of a beautiful Church, just one hour's drive from Mangalore, on the side of a village road.
The place where this church is located is called 'Kinnigoli'. It is about half an hour drive from Mangalore Airport and 45 minutes drive from Mangalore city. The Church has been renovated recently and looks great now!!
But as we reached the place around 5.30 in the evening, the doors of the Church were closed. So as we could not go inside, I was able to take the pics of these doors with wonderful wood-carving work!!
Outer walls of the Church were also very beautiful with these inbuilt statues of the Saints, on all the four sides!!
Near the entrance gate was this serene Shrine of Mother Mary, which I have already shared with you in my yesterday's blog... :)

What is that last letter written on the donation box? I guess the first three are pronounced as "Anga". Just curious.
@xyzashu... That is Angon, written in Kannada script.
The word Angon in local Christian Konkani, but written in Kannada. I don't know the exact English word for this. Kannada word is 'Harake'...
It is believed that Mother Mary fulfills all our prayers in this holy place. And after our wishes are fulfilled, then we can donate something in this place. (Not the normal donation!)... That is Harake in Kannada... :)
