RE: Steemit traffic going wild everywhere... now that STEEM is back into the top 10 CryptoCurrency Market Capitalizations

in #steemit7 years ago

Agreed the ratio is ridiculous and still climbing due to the external rise in the price of STEEM, It was not so when this was posted, however how much more content do you find on steemit with over 100 comments, and more views than votes?

That is where the eyeballs differ with @berniesanders assessment regarding the quality and how many of those votes accrue

Would you consider setting a max-payout?

Max-payout? Is that in development? Not a bad idea.

While steemit.com fails to offer a max-payout UI option, here are a few workarounds:

  1. Keep posting, let it self-correct. If the reward really is too high, it's not like it's your fault. People should pay attention and fix their curation logic.
  2. Use Decline Payout every so often so that over the course of many days, your payouts are limited.
  3. Start posting with streemian.com (Scheduled Posts) and set a Maximum accepted payout in the Advanced Options.
  4. Use my ruby script to post, which also allows you to set a max payout.

This is good to know, my work around is @berniesanders, he has been managing my max payouts, for the last couple of months, for me by ensuring that they get downvoted appropriately... He was just a little slack and slow figuring out this last 12 hours thing

I have advocated for max payout for a while.

Yet you've never used it because you're a greedy twat.

Did I know about it, but now I have you and your army to take care of it for me ;)
