Steemit: My posts only gain stem in the first 39 minuets. Thoughts?

Am I the only one that gains steem in approximately 30 minuets from posting and the it stops?

Basically you can’t expect to get more steem after half an hour from posting.

Does any one know why and do you have suggestions/thoughts to share?
