Because of the email + phone number restriction. their is at least some control over the creation of new accounts.
Depending on the security check steemit does. The 'scammers' will first need too buy another phone number. And maybe even another device, because of the IMEI number.
That being said, even then it would be more beneficial to write on a single account. Then to write for multiple small account with tiny voting power.
More then one account = More costs + less voting power
1.But What if somebody has a different interest like photography , politic , tech etc..... It is sure better focusing on certain niche for gathering audiences ..
2.So you mean Steemit can track Ip address and device ? What if somebody wants blog three different accounts from one device? Do you actually know the limitation number of accessing from one device ?
I'm hoping that in the future, someone will build a 'steemit skin'. Where it's possible to sort your posts in different blogs.
I don't know if Steemit is doing this . But using javascript it's possible to check the useragent. Which provides information about: ip, browser, screen resolution. So then it would be possible to detect a cheater who uses the same device.
