Hey @clicketyclick! Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your concerns about the length. I struggled with this as well. Since the goal is to eventually place this into a single guide, it's more difficult for me to figure out where the breaks should come.

I think you'll find the next few chapters broken up sufficiently. This original post is a bare minimum for new users who want to get started right away. The next few chapters deal with specific subjects in much shorter segments.

I think finding the right balance between information and length is one of the biggest challenges facing projects like this. Even the official Steemit welcome guide is rather lengthy, and IMO, does not include enough detail.

The rest of the guide is going to be much smaller chunks which will be assimilated into an entire guide. Think of this post as the "let's get started right away" small leaflet that is included when you purchase a new electronic device or appliance. The rest of the guide is going to be more like the full user manual.

Once again, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. It's always great to consider perspectives that I might be neglecting.
