Green Revolution = Green Economy, an everlasting wealth!
Green Revolution!
I took this picture in 2012 when i visited the Savannah Botanic Garden (SABOGA) in Bafut in the North West Region of Cameroon. The message is simple, if we all embrace a green revolution, it will promote a green economy and a green economy is an economy of everlasting wealth.
The picture won Second prize for the Connect 4 Climate Voices for Climate Photo Competition in 2012 in the Green Economy Photo Category.
These are some wise words of Late Dr Ngwa Che Francis, a renowned botanist and environmentalist, who spent virtually all his professional life teaching young people how to plant flowers and protect the environment.
His words and actions are a great source of inspiration and this explains why i am a crusader for the environment.
