I think you're right that action often is the result of someone's "tail feathers" actually being set on fire... then we see movement. I always had the feeling that Steemit, Inc. seemed to spend a lot of time "coasting" because they were pretty "rich" as a result of the crypto boom. Now that everything seems to be falling apart, suddenly there is more activity.
