From what I have seen so far, the primary function of the platform is to encourage debate, conversations, and original content. If you have a differing opinion, add it to the conversation.

I believe the "incentive" is to not troll or simply shitpost but to provide meaningful dialogue. The idea is no one will up-vote or provide "consensus" on your posts or comments if it doesn't provide value overall.
