Why the steemit community is not as toxic as its competitors.

First off why is Steemits community Friendly

When scrolling through top rated blog post people speak there mind clearly, but not in a way of it being controversial. Meaning they don't disagree with someones beliefs.

Why argue?

People join this program to make money and gain success. Speaking negative is only going to hurt you. Calling someone out is only punishing your self. People that say upvote me or follow me in the comments usually get a down vote because they don't care about the blog makers post. Why follow someone that doesn't take the time to read your post? If someone gets my vote they have earned it. When scrolling through on youtube you see a lot of people say hateful stuff trying to get into someones head. When on steemit people spend that time making a nice comment to some post they enjoyed reading.

Thank you,
Let me hear you thoughts on this subject.
