happy steemversary @binkyprod !! steemit is a great place to meet new people and is not just about the money like you said. There are so many great aspects which steem(it) has to offer, can't wait for my 1-year steemversary in November !!

Hehe what's funny is that the power went off earlier this evening, so my husband and I just took a slow walk, took a nap on the armchair, cuddled and chatted, and sort of slowed down, since we couldn't do anything. For a few hours, we had slowed down. Made me realise we should do that more often and just take not just an internet break but a technology break for a few hours every week or something and just slow down a bit.
yes i hear you loud and clear... it's funny how sometimes it takes something, such as a power outage for us to just slow down a bit. sometimes we just rush through things, and that simply isn't how life is meant to be.
