Steem Mining Hardware Comparison (Hashrates). v. 26.07.2016

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Hello, Steemians. I want to update some information about STEEM Mining Hashrates.

My own experience (i'm using actual build 0.12.2 of BTSCUBE Wallet and Miner and Windows 10 x64):
https://github.com/btscube/steem/releases/
Intel Core i5 760 [email protected]
4 cores mining = 18kHash
3 cores mining (if you want a smooth operation of the PC) = 14kHash

Found on SteemIt (i don't know about OS and miner version):
AMD FX-8350 (stock) / 6 cores = 22 kHash
AMD FX-6400 (stock) / 6 cores = 20kHash
Intel Core i5-2500K (4 cores) @ 4.5 GHz = 33kHash
Intel Core i5-4690K (4 cores) @ 4.6 GHz = 38kHash
Intel Xeon E3-1275 V2 (4 cores/8 threads) @ 3.7 GHz = 32kHash
Intel Pentium G3258 (2 cores) @ 3.2 GHz = 13kHash
AMD Phenom II X4 (4 cores) @ 3.2GHz = 17kHash
Core i7-6700K (4 cores/8 threads) @ 4GHz = 39kHash
AMD FX-6300 4/6 cores @ 4.5 Ghz = 16kHash
Core i5-6600k / 4 Cores overclocked = 41kHash
Dual Xeon E5-2680v3 (12 cores) @ 2.5 GHz = 132kHash
PLEASE, COMMENT, WHAT HASHRATE DO YOU HAVE (HOW MUCH KILOHASHES).

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT GPU MINER? IS IT POSSIBLE TO MINE STEEM ON GPU? ANYONE DEVELOPS GPU MINER NOW?
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT POOLS FOR MINING. IS IT POSSIBLE TO MINE STEEM IN POOL WITH OTHER MINERS?

Thanks for posting. Is it easy to config the miner on a windows64 machine?

For me it was not really easy ). Depends of your nerd level i think)).
